The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea is fast approaching!

 

 

The Jamaican Bobsled team is working tirelessly to qualify for the 2018 Olympics and can only do so by competing in a number of required events around the world. The team has a strong long-term plan, a new structure and experienced leadership with the singular focus of building the best possible team and, ultimately, securing Olympic Gold!
*Notable people in attendance will be Devon Harris – former Jamaican Bobsledder and the Foundation President, Christopher Stokes – former Jamaican Bobsledder and member of the Jamaican Bobsled Federation, Actor Malik Yoba – Cool Runnings and Why Did I Get Married 1 & 2movies, and Actor & Fine Artist Paul Campbell – Dance Hall Queen & Shutters movie.

The Jamaican Bobsled team was formed in 1987 and first participated in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada. Nearly 30 years later, the team retains global recognition and notoriety and remains one of the most recognized Olympic sports teams in the world and in the history of sport.
